It used to be that basketball wagering was something I would shy away from. It's not that I have ever lacked for confidence in my knowledge of the game. I mean, how many people do you know that can rattle off from memory every NCAA Final Four winner since 1973? It's just that I thought that basketball wagering was something that two drunk guys did in a bar while watching a game on television, or what overwrought fans did when they thought their team was the greatest thing since John Wooden's UCLA Bruins of the 1960's.

Not only is it easy to do, but I really have a blast trying to pick the winners in my favorite sport.
And the really great thing is that I am not limited to just the NBA or the NCAA when it comes to basketball wagering. I can even place bets on European professional basketball, in countries like Spain, Italy, and Greece. As an American, I've gotten quite an education on overseas hoops through basketball wagering, and it's interesting to see the names of former players from the United States who are now playing there. Online basketball wagering has totally changed how I view the sport. I just hope I can get all my bets down before the boss comes back.
