North Carolina has a near monopoly on first place votes in the latest AP Polls, and they don't look like they're ready to give up the top of the dog pile just yet. The Tar Heels won't get much of a break in the schedule, as they start up the ACC portion of the season very soon. Still, most people are giving the Heels a good shot at running the table until, possibly, their matchup with Duke later in the year. In the near future North Carolina will have to get through Rutgers, Boston College and Wake Forest. While Rutgers and BC haven't been getting too much press, they're both solid teams with winning records. When any team plays UNC they're playing for a season-defining win, so fans who buy North Carolina Tar Heels basketball tickets to see these games should not take any game lightly. Wake Forest, the current No. 10 team in the nation, will provide a good matchup, as they Demon Deacons are balanced and quick, just like North Carolina.
