#6 Grant Writing

Vicsport, in conjunction with Basketball Victoria, wishes to invite you to the next Female Administrator’s Network session to be held in Tuesday, 13 October.

2.30pm: Registration

3.00pm: Grant Writing

5.00pm: Networking

6.00pm: Australia vs. Kuwait Wheelchair Basketball

Dandenong Basketball Association & State Volleyball Centre

270 Stud Road
Dandenong North
Victoria 3175

Melway Ref: 90 G1

Presented by Shelley Maher (VicHealth) and Sue McGill (DPCD), FAN # 6 aims to deliver a professional development session on Grant writing to assist the network in areas of:

· Grant application tips

· Writing Etiquette

· Appropriate language

Shelley and Sue will aim to provide examples of what works and what hasn’t worked in the past.

Following the grant writing session, we encourage you to make the most of the networking opportunity from 5pm—6pm (with afternoon tea provided) then from 6pm stay on to support Australia Vs Kuwait in the Asia Oceania Wheelchair Championship. This fantastic event can also be viewed live on ABC1. By staying and supporting this great game, it will be a great chance to get behind the Australian team and admire the skills of many talented sportsmen on the basketball court.

The FAN session is complimentary and tickets for the wheelchair basketball event will be $8 per person, payable on the night.

Please RSVP to both the FAN session and Wheelchair Basketball match so we have an idea of numbers by Thursday 8 October, 2009.
